"marhaba!" I am a high school teacher of social studies enrolled in a library science program in Boston. We've been asked to engage in a blog activity. So this is my first! Though I studied Arabic a hundred years ago when I was a university student, and lived in your region for two years after that, alas, I am a poor student of languages and never got much further than "survival arabic." (introductions, all of the foods, "curfew", "soldiers are coming" and "I love you." :) So I wonder if you're able to communicate in English? If so, share your thoughts and I will respond. And don't worry, I won't say anything bad about Mubarak. (Though I invite your insults for Bush and company.) Beth Verani
